ScriptoGen AI (“we”, “us”, or “our”) provides a web application that generates short-form video ad scripts from text you provide and, optionally, content inferred from URLs you paste. We respect your privacy and describe our practices below.

By using ScriptoGen AI at scriptogen.com, you agree to this Privacy Policy together with our Terms of Service.

2. Information we collect

Content you submit. Product descriptions, optional audience notes, URLs, tone selections, and similar inputs are sent to our servers to generate scripts with third-party AI models.

Optional URL enrichment. If you paste a link, we may fetch that page server-side to extract publicly visible text (for example titles or descriptions) to improve script relevance. Many sites block automated access; enrichment is best-effort only.

Technical and usage data. We may collect IP address, approximate region (derived from IP), browser type, timestamps, request metadata, error logs, and aggregated usage signals. We use this data to operate the service, enforce rate limits, reduce abuse, and improve reliability.

Cookies and storage. We may use cookies or local storage for preferences, session continuity where applicable, and essential security features. Analytics cookies may be used if enabled on your deployment.

3. How we use information

• Provide and improve script generation and related features.
• Authenticate requests, enforce usage limits (including daily free tiers where configured), and detect fraud or misuse.
• Communicate operational notices (for example security or policy updates) when appropriate.
• Analyze aggregated or de-identified metrics to guide product decisions.

4. AI processing and outputs

Inputs are processed by machine-learning providers (such as OpenAI, and optionally Anthropic for certain plans) to produce text outputs. Providers process data under their terms and safeguards. Outputs are probabilistic and should be reviewed before use in advertising or publication.

5. Sharing and subprocessors

We share information with infrastructure and service providers needed to run ScriptoGen AI, including hosting (for example Vercel), AI model APIs, optional Redis-based rate limiting (for example Upstash), and analytics if configured. We do not sell your personal information as traditionally defined under applicable “sale” frameworks.

6. Retention

We retain information only as long as necessary for the purposes above, unless a longer period is required by law. Retention periods depend on your deployment configuration (logging, backups, and provider defaults).

7. Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

8. Your rights

9. Children

ScriptoGen AI is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). Do not submit personal information about children.

10. International transfers

If you access the service from outside the country where our servers or vendors operate, your information may be transferred and processed in those regions. We take steps consistent with applicable law for such transfers.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and adjust the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
